Vancouver Veterans Team

The Veterans Team focuses on the employment and training needs of Veterans in Clark County, especially Veterans with barriers to employment. Barriers can be identified as anything from lack of computer skills, communicating your abilities, law violations, training needs or disabilities.

Defining a Veteran

A Veteran is a person who served on active duty for more than 180 days or was discharged, or was released therefrom, other than dishonorable discharge, or was released or discharged because of a service connected disability, or was medically discharged, or as a member of a Guard or Reserve unit called to 'Active Duty' during any length or period of war or campaign for which a campaign ribbon was awarded.
